Orion Manufacturing Support

The Prototype Development Laboratory (PDL) supported Lockheed Martin and the Orion program during the manufacturing of the Orion Exploration Flight Test-1 (EFT-1) vehicle in the Operations and Checkout Building.  The PDL provided modifications to flight hardware and various ground support equipment on numerous occasions, providing Lockheed Martin with manufacturing capability that they did not have on-site to resolve issues that came up during assembly and testing processes.
